This is the last destination during Tour A last Dec 30 2023. You had to take 360 steps uphill and downhill to get to the lake but the view is worth it. Better get a private tour and get there early to avoid the crowd and get better photos.

Kayangan Lake is an absolute gem hidden within the breathtaking landscapes of Coron. Having visited this pristine natural wonder, I am left awe-struck by its unparalleled beauty and the ethereal experience it offers to all who venture to explore it. One of the highlights of my visit was climbing up a wooden platform to a vantage point that offered a panoramic view of the lake. The vista was nothing short of breathtaking, with the lake's pristine waters framed by the dramatic limestone cliffs that define the landscape. I found myself lost in the sheer beauty of it all, and I couldn't resist capturing the scene with my camera.

I adore how serene the lake is—especially for beginners who are just trying out swimming and want to take in the scenery. Just remember to put on your life jacket. ✌️

Beautiful location. Worth going to. But i recommend talking to one of the boatmen at the port the previous day and arranging a private trip with him. So that you could arrive a little earlier than the larger group trips and can get a glimpse of the beauty and tranquility of the place. The private boat cost 3500 pesos and with the aqua shoes, kayak, all the fees, it cost us around 7300 pesos for 2 adults and a toddler.

Beautiful rock Formation and clear water. Downside, theres only one stairs for entrance and exit to lake, a bit hard to go down when crowded. But I would say its still a paradise.

You don't want to miss visiting Kayangan Lake when in Coron, Palawan! Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the beautiful site of food stalls in the water. After that, there's a little bit of hiking to access the lake. Elderly will have difficulties with this, kinda steep. But the hike will be all worth it. The stunning turquoise, crystal-clear water was so relaxing. Interestingly, the water is fresh but a little bit salty. Surrounded by greens and the sounds of nature, wear your life jacket and float away.... Relax, enjoy, and live the moment.

This was our first stop of the tour and it did not disappoint. When you reach the top your guide will take pictures of you- there is a long line btw. After you hike down for the swimming and snorkeling. I deducted 1 star because of the hike up-down-and-up-down again 😅. We also docked quite far so we had to take the long "footbridge" which for me was the scariest part because they were uneven wood, and was quite apart from each other. It was nerve wracking for me to walk looking down to make sure I don't trip and fall off the water which had huge rocks. We were wearing lifejackets but for someone who has that kind of fear, it was not an easy feat.I was not ready for it.😅

It’s beautiful. Without a doubt a magnificent place that you should visit if in Coron. However…be prepared. It is so busy. We arrived at 9:30am with group tour and it was so busy already. It is possible still to swim out to the furthest point and it is much quieter. You have to wear your life vest, or at least have it in your hands. The lifeguards to enforce this rule. The stairs can be steep and filled with tourists pushing you. I’m still happy I went but I would only do it again if we could go when the site opened.
